The annual trustee election was held at our November 2007 meeting where two new trustees were elected to the board.

Elections for the Stark REIA Officers were conducted at the November, 2007 board meeting.

The General Assembly has been on recess since the completion of the budget process, which was completed and signed by June 30^th. While the General Assembly has been on recess though, OREIA has been working behind the scenes on many pieces of legislation.

 House Bill 161- Rental Agreements

There was a new House Bill introduced into the Ohio House, HB 161, and assigned to House Commerce & Labor Committee.  HB 161 was sponsored by Rep. Jim Raussen (R) from District #28 (Springdale/Hamilton County).
